CEO and Executive Director


An adventurous spirit by birth, a communications expert by training, and an entrepreneur at heart, Barbara founded RML Foundation in 2011 to create an organization focused on helping women master personal transformation and leveraging their collective power to help others thrive in the face of continuous adversity. A self-proclaimed beach bum, and beginner bikram yogi, Barbara travels off the beaten path and enjoys an occasional whiskey. Known as a straight shooter and earning her reputation as a Washington DC insider, she's been a communications consultant and business strategist for nearly 25 years.Executive Bio


Dionne Clemons  Ph.D.

Founder and Coach

Dione Clemons is an expert strategic communication management practitioner, scholar and executive coach. Lover of all things fabric and academia, you’ll find Dionne in her craft studio or mentoring future Public Relations gurus. As a Certified Sherpa Coach, Dr. Clemons provides process-driven coaching to clients one-on-one with executives, entrepreneurs, and career climbers to produce specific, positive changes in business behavior in a fixed time frame. Dionne enjoys a perfect vodka martini. She lives in Bowie, Md. With her husband and daughter.


Jennifer Davis

Mentor and Facilitator

With more than 20 years experience in conference, events and meeting planning/ management, Jennifer is queen of everything etiquette, style and order. As the CEO of Simplify concierge service, she handles the unthinkables for the untouchables… and does it with a smile. In her spare time she enjoys live music and professional sporting events. She has a BS Business Management and a MS Nonprofit Association Management from University of Maryland University College.


Helene Key, LCSW

Mentor and Coach

Helene Is often described as a walking proverb and giver of sage wisdom. She is a lover of all things living; mother, wife, friend, super hero incognito, mostly known for her entrepreneurial spirit, founder and owner of five successful, businesses including a substance abuse counseling center. A native of Trenton NJ, indebted to and shaped by the poverty and thorns of the ghetto,  Helene has the gift of encouragement, and uses her words to heal. She lives in North Charleston, SC.


Kimberly Tanner, PMP

Founder and Mentor

Always wearing a smile or offering a kind gesture, Kimberly is a talented Marine. She currently works in project management for the United States Government. She is on a disciplined financial quest and seeks personal growth. Kimberly lives in King George, VA.

Karen Moore Ward

Self-described mild mannered change management and communications pro by day, cocktail and dance fitness fanatic by night, Karen is married and spends many a night at often unknown yet fabulous DC hot-spots. She’s a giver of joy and insights and makes everyone around her feel comfortable. Karen lives in Washington, DC.


Susan White

Susan is a type A introvert and Director in the United States Government. She is a wife and mother and owns Oh My Goodness Foods. Among other things, Susan enjoys photography, shoes and good wine. Continually providing inspirational motivation to others Susan is now striving to meet her own goals. She lives in Waldorf, MD.


A phenomenal woman, Michelle is a highly sought after marketing communications executive. Her outgoing personality and caring disposition have helped her connect and build lasting relationships with professionals in all walks of life.  Michelle’s goal is to unleash her hidden potential as an entrepreneur and create financial freedom and independence for herself and family. She

DeJuan is a communicator, blogger, writer, star watcher, and intuitive. She has over 15 years of experience in strategic communications and public relations. A native of the District of Columbia, DeJuan Price earned a BA in Communication from George Mason University,  a Master’s in Communication, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University and an Executive Master’s in Business Administration from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
